Glazed or unglazed ham on the bone

Our chefs glaze the ham for you for an additional $65. After brining and smoking, the rind is removed, the ham is scored and burnished with a brown sugar and port glaze, and cloves are included for you to stud the ham at home. If you'd rather glaze it yourself, add our Meatsmith festive ham glaze and follow our guide to glazing your Christmas ham.

How to carve ham on the bone

After glazing, let the ham cool slightly, then place it glazed side up on a board. Start slicing thin pieces from the thinnest part of the joint with a sharp knife, working around the bone. Only carve what you need on the day. Our full guide covers how to prepare, carve and glaze a whole ham.

How to store ham on the bone

Your ham is vacuum sealed, so check the packaging for the use-by date. Once opened, store it in the fridge wrapped in a ham bag. Soaking the bag in a vinegar and water mix helps the ham stay fresh for longer.
