2022 Place of Changing Winds Tradition Red
You will find the Place of Changing Winds vineyard in the foothills of Mount Macedon, with its name coming from its original inhabitants, the Wurundjeri people.
The Tradition Red is inspired by wines made by the great Maurice O'Shea in the 40s and 50s, with this Pinot Noir and Syrah (40/60) blend only being made in years where the fruit is suited to the style.
Mid-weighted with plenty of fruit intensity, there are complex notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts and spice. The tannin if firm, but integrated seamlessly with the ripe nature of the palate.
Drink alongside a standing rib roast or lamb leg paupiette.
Please note, wine vintage changes are subject to availability.
