French onion soup

A traditional, deeply rich French classic made with heavily caramelised onions, garlic, thyme, port, and cognac. We bring this together the Meatsmith way, simmering the base in a hearty beef broth crafted from braised beef shin and marrow bones.

Divide into warm bowls and serve with crusty bread and a generous grating of Gruyère or Comté.

Beef Shin, brown onions, garlic, thyme, GF soy sauce, beef stock (beef bones, water, garlic, thyme, carrot, onions, celery, bay leaf) salt, pepper, Tawny Port, white wine.
This product will be jar-sealed, please refer to packaging for more information.
Each jar will contain 500ml of soup, enough for 2 people.
Empty the soup into a medium sauce pan, adding 100ml water. Gently reheat and bring to the boil. Turn down and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
