En Papillote is a French technique meaning 'enveloped in paper'. Wrapped in parchment paper, the chicken steams, ensuring it becomes incredibly tender as it roasts in the oven.

We do all the work for you here - stuffing a whole Bannockburn chicken with confit leeks, seeded mustard, parsley and salted butter, before encasing it in paper ready for the oven.

This raw product will be vacuum sealed, and should be consumed within 3 days of opening. Please refer to packaging for more information.
Each chicken en papillote will weigh approximately 1.2kg, feeding 4-5 people.
To roast the chicken en papillote, place it in a roasting tray, preheat your oven to 180 degrees, cook for 60 mins or until internal temp of 68c Let it rest for 15 mins before serving.
