This pie is our go-to for when settling in for an afternoon of footy. Beef brisket pieces are slow-cooked in a pastrami spiced gravy, and the mixture is then spliced with fresh jalapeno slices.
Just requiring finishing in a hot oven to enjoy at home.
This pie is made with beef brisket, black pepper, coriander, mustard powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, nitrates, cider vinegar, tomato ketchup, American mustard, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper sauce, shortcrust pastry, puff pastry, butter, salt, jalapeno chillies.
This is a partially cooked product, best consumed within 2-3 days.
Serves one.
Bake for 25 minutes at 190C until the pastry is golden brown and the filling piping hot.
