The Great Southern region is (as expected) right down in the southern
part of Western Australia. It has coastal influences and is producing some excellent
cool to moderate climate styles of wine.
The Rocky Gully Riesling is made by the renowned Frankland Estate and is both a
fresh and generous example of the variety. Balanced fruit and acid, the wine is
loaded with blossom, stone fruit and citrus and has a lengthy, gently textured finish.
