This rice-shaped pasta, made from durum wheat, is also commonly called 'risoni'. Traditionally added to soups, stews and salads, the small pieces hold their shape as they soak up flavour and soften with moisture.
Rustichella d'Abruzzo have been making artisan pasta and other products (their panettone are excellent!) in Italy since 1924, using high quality semolina flour.
Made from Durum wheat semolina, water.
