Coq au Vin Jaune Pie

A nod to the classic coq au vin, this comforting pie features chicken and mushrooms slowly cooked in a rich Jura wine sauce, then tucked into buttery shortcrust pastry. It’s rich and full of flavour – we like it served with braised peas and lettuce (you’ll find the recipe on page 222 of our cookbook).
To cook the pie, simply bake in a 190ºC oven for around 25 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
Each pie is made in our Fitzroy store, using chicken, short crust pastry, onions, cream, butter, mushrooms, Sherry, vinegar, wine, Dijon mustard, tarragon, thyme, egg, xanthum gum
This is a partially cooked product, please use within 3-4 days of purchase.
Each pie will be enough to feed 1 person.
Place in 190°C oven for 25 minutes or until internal temperature of 65°C
