Cinghiale in Agrodolce

Pieces of pork scotch have been marinated with red wine, tomato, prune, orange zest, rosemary, thyme and pine nuts, ready for you to cook at home.

To prepare, slowly braise in chicken stock until tender. Once removed from the heat, shred the meat and fold it through the braising liquid. The result is a richly flavoured sauce, fragrant with herbs, citrus and spice. Serve stirred through good quality pappardelle, with a glass of Nebbiolo on the side.

This is a fresh product, best used within 3 days.
Each portion of Cinghiale in Agrodolce will weigh approximately 1kg, enough for 4-6 people.
Braise with chicken stock over a low heat for 4 hours. (Approx 1 Litre of stock per 1 kg of meat). Once removed from the heat and rested for 15 minutes, Using a wooden spoon, break the meat down and fold it through the rich braising liquid.
