Steak night is our favourite night and it's made better with our own O'Connor Porterhouse. This Gippsland beef is packed with flavour, only needing the simplest of accompaniments but the best grill. Take yourself to your favourite bistrot or pub with this grilled porterhouse - a glass of wine, essential.
Lightly brush the steak with olive oil, and season with salt. Cook over a hot grill or in a hot cast iron pan for around 8-10 minutes, turning frequently until medium rare then rest for 5 minutes before serving.
We love to eat this steak with a simple side of a crisp salad or french fries, with some of our housemade mustard. Stuff all these ingredients into some toasted baguette for the ultimate steak sandwich.
