Tender chuck steak and coarse-ground beef mince are slow-cooked with red wine, onions, and thyme, then wrapped in buttery shortcrust and topped with flaky puff pastry. Just requiring finishing in a hot oven to heat through the contents and crisp the pastry until golden brown.
Each pie is enough to feed one person.

Bake for 25-30 minutes at 190C until the pastry is golden brown and the filling piping hot.
