Mitolo burst onto the scene in the early 2000s, making wines of great concentration and remarkable poise. They have quickly climbed the ladder of great producers in the very competitive region that is McLaren Vale. All of their fruit is sourced from a small rocky pocket of their premium Lopresti Home Block. Grown on prized grey, sandy clay soils, the Savitar Cuvée is Mitolo’s crowing jewel.

A big punch of blackberries and ripe plum with the nuanced spices of clove and vanilla are front and central in the full-bodied nose of the 'Savitar'. Its dense and powerful mouthfeel that is balanced by oak helps to bring tannin and shape to the wine - a great choice to enjoy at the end of festivities.
