2018 San Salvatore Falanghina
Falanghina is an exciting grape, whether grown in Australia, or its homeland of Campania in southern Italy, particularly for lovers of Pinot Gris or dry Riesling. The team at San Salvatore 1988 work their mixed farm of vines, buffalo, crops and olives using organic and biodynamic methods and produce a classic example of the variety. Fresh yet textured, with notes of ripe pineapple and nectarine, and undertones of wet stone and fresh herbs. Perfect for warm evenings alongside a plate of fresh cheese and salumi.
